Who we are

The success of Murray Control Systems stems back to 2003.

Originally formed by Paul Murray as Murray M&E (Southern) Ltd, Paul’s background in technical engineering enabled him to identify the need for a fully equipped specialist control panel company, able to offer the full package for Mechanical and Electrical engineering. With this in mind Murray M&E was formed, based in a small workshop in Romsey, Murray’s offered the Utilities industry a complete Mechanical and Electrical service with an emphasis on its Control Panel capability.

As the turnover of this successful business grew, the need for new modern offices and workshops became apparent and so, in 2007, Murray M&E relocated into purpose built premises in Eastleigh, near Winchester.

With the successful growth of Murray M&E, this has enabled us to branch out into new market sectors, principally Aggregates, Mining and Petrochemicals.

In January 2010, Murray M&E was acquired by the Damar Group who, recognising the specialist technical expertise of its Control Panel unit, re-branded the business as Murray Control Systems Ltd, introduced additional strength into the company and provided the resources to further expand its core capabilities.

Murray Control Systems offer all of their clients a total integrated solution for electrical, instrument and control systems. We are able to ensure that each project is fully compliant with our client’s specifications and is delivered as a fully integrated design, manufacture and installation.

In this highly technical and often critical environment customers must be able to find a reliable source of capability, quality and expertise that it can trust. Murray Control Systems is that source.
